“Quiet. Traffic sounds rushing to the change of a light while waterfalls turn flames into souls. Stealing parts and distorting them into tears, the cars swerve to miss by default. Blurry noises lay amidst in the dark while life searches in the cusp of it’s role. Meandering like fireflies it’s chances intertwine as it goes.”

Another study. A warning with a quiet sentimentality. I took this one to a more subtle and reserved quality, studying the changes of light, color, and mood as sounds wash around in the background. Fire is an obvious element in this piece as it represents passion. The blue that appears later in the clip seems to stand as a switch into rational thought, flirting with the color red, and then eventually fading away. The footage was taken from filming the fires at Yorba Linda in late 2008. The piece’s render date was 11/23.
