Freeways Collide

This is a study I compiled together while playing around with Adobe AFx. I took some footage of a women in a tunnel and overlayed it with some footage of some birds flying. All the footy was shot by me. And the effects were executed using an algorithm that responses to the soundscape composed by Fraunmusik from Belgium.

I thought of this piece as a subtle visual study of being on the fringes of death. Sort of like floating through the dark crevices as the neurons in your brain go off; visual twitches occurring internally w/ a memory or two that are frozen, meshed together, and repeated eternally as your vision slowly passes into the white light.

The title was taken from a webpage about bird symbolism.
